Re:Plenish product, muscadine juice (nutraceutical
beverage).
We hear
of many benefits including sounder sleep, mental brightness and
regularity.
The Vollara
relationship with
the muscadine grape
dates back to 2007. Company executives from that era visited the muscadine vineyards with Dr. Diane Hartle
as their guest and the potential of creating a muscadine
product was discussed. To achieve product superiority they
decided to add grape pomace back into
the juice.
This product is different
from other muscadine products based on four significant
ingredients. It is not "just juice"; therefore it is more effective
than muscadine alone. Table juice is not the same as
our
nutraceutical
quality
Re:Plenish.
Pomace is what is
left after the juice is all squeezed out of the grapes. It’s this
pomace of skins and seeds that contains a lot more
antioxidants, including the highest
resveratrol amounts. The
pomace, a highly concentrated source of antioxidants, is dried and made into a pharmaceutal quality powder.
The quality of
antioxidants also depends on the way the juice is processed.
Re:Plenish is made just as the grapes are
harvested in the fall to get the freshest juice. Most juices use a
cold process which most people think would be best. Vollara uses heat for extraction of the juice which actually
increases the levels of antioxidants. The heat enhances the
antioxidants with a small amount of a beneficial yeast. This is also
true of tomatoes. When they are processed with heat, higher levels
of
licopenes result.
After
processing, the bottles of juice are kept in cold storage at the
vineyard.
What makes the grape so special?
It is grown in
a sandy clay soil and has a high tolerance for heat and lack of
rain. It has an extra pair of
chromosomes (20 pair compared to 19 in Concord and European
varieties) giving muscadines more genetic resource material and thus more nutrients
and more antioxidants.
Muscadines are only found in the Southeast US
and only a few vineyards actually grow them right. Vollara
acquires their grapes from a family-run vineyard that has been a muscadine agriculture
leader for generations. This vineyard grows their grapes
carefully. The soil is cared for and
will be certified as organic. Pesticides are not used. The family has always
done things this way for a low impact on the environment. Our
formulators tasted grapes from several vineyards and this one had
the best taste of those sampled.
The superiority
of this product is shown in many charts in the Muscadine Health
book, which is based on Dr. Hartle’s studies and research.
Polyphenols
have proven to be a great benefit for prostate health. They also
work to balance blood sugars. Major research is underway regarding
the effect on blood sugar levels. Heartland Select actually becomes
a super food able to help fight and work to prevent many diseases,
and these benefits are
explained very well in the book.
There is no
CAeDS in this product because CAeDS cannot be used in a liquid.
There still is great absorption because of the processing methods
used.
We recommend
using Re:Fuel because
our diets need the enzymes,
flora
and the other nutrients in that very versatile product. What about
Vollara’s Re:Inforce antioxicant formula? This exceptional product has antioxidants that are not found in grapes. Organic Olive extract, beta-carotenes, and lutein are some of the
additional antioxidant sources in Re:Inforce.
Re:Plenish
is concentrated and packed with as much antioxidant power as possible,
which bumps us up to prevention levels.
Using the USDA
recommended daily food intake we would get 3000 – 5000 ORAC units
(USDA
research link on ORAC:
http://www.ars.usda.gov/is/AR/archive/feb99/aging0299.htm)
For disease
prevention levels should be 7,000 ORAC units
By eating
recommended amounts of fruits and vegetables daily, we get
700 ORAC units per serving.
As stated in a
circle on the label, the muscadine juice from Re:Plenish
contains 3764 ORAC units per serving. There are no sugars and
no fillers.
Other products
often state the ORAC units of the fruit that is used or amount per
liter or per milliliter. Re:Plenish contains 63,000 ORAC units per liter.
Consumers want
to see what they get when using products per the recommended
serving. Dry foods
measure ORAC score in grams.
So
bump yourself back up by eating 4-5 servings of fruits and
vegetables every day. You will get lutein and selenium, which have
horrible ORAC scores, but we need these phytonutrients. Eat the
rainbow of colors with fresh foods (yellow, orange, red, purple,
green). Phytonutrients help "phyte"
disease.
Cost of the
muscadine juice is $154.99 retail for case of 4 bottles (plus
shipping), which is about $39
($42) per bottle. Distributor
price is $129.99. With the 4 bottles, use 3 for your monthly supply and share the 4th
with others. Recommended dose is 1 oz in the morning and 1
oz in the evening but it is perfectly effective if 2 ozs are used as
one serving. It can be diluted or it can be added to a

Re:Plenish is safe for diabetics. It contains natural
occurring sugar as well as other ingredients helpful to "phyte"
complications of diabetes. Glycation measures how much sugar
gets stuck to proteins (red
blood cells)
that cause problems for a diabetic with their feet and
eyes. Preliminary research shows phytochemicals slow this down. We want things free flowing. This also slows the process of
thrombosis.
Add muscadine
juice for its bio-chemical “oomph”!
In the book
when showing comparisons to other grape juices the actual product
names are not used. People will know
what company and products they are anyway. For example, any gogi
juice will have the same results as the juice product advertised
under that name. The same name grape, acai, mangosteeen will be
clear as to the company representing the juice. The muscadine
tastes better and contains 2˝ higher antioxidant levels.
Serve it chilled – no ice.
