Foreword
The 2012 Spiral Notebook Plan update is
better than ever!
My name is Bob Giddens. I learned about network marketing
at age
28. I was within a few months of leaving the Navy and my first thought
was to do Amway full time. Seven months later I picked up my last military
paycheck, and it was obvious I needed a job. I had 100 people in my group (diversified
into 4 main Legs), but Amway was not
paying off...
I switched from Amway to Shaklee and was also about to
take a job with Exxon—or so I thought. The job involved managing the recovery
of oil from their South Texas oil fields. It sounded interesting, and I would
have enjoyed it. But in my final interview, the bigwig in Corpus Christi asked, "Where would you like to be in
5 years if you take this job?" He caught
me off guard.
"I'd like to be president of Exxon," I said.
The proper answer would have been, "I'd like to be a
respected engineer with an opportunity to move up in the company." I knew I'd
goofed when I saw his face go pale. He liked me; but a highly ambitious and competitive young guy
is not likely to be happy as a seismograph analyst. The
job was not offered.
Shaklee became a do or die
thing for me. It was 1971, and shortly thereafter—after trying and not doing
well with a couple of day planner systems—I came up with the Spiral Notebook Plan. Over a 39-year period it has been used by thousands of people. I've used it
to build half a
dozen networks.
The
Spiral Notebook Plan is a getting started tool.
It can be used for a special
campaign or blitz.
It is a great example setting tool and training guide.
And it's a
marvelous follow-up resource.
Diligent spiral notebooking generates more leads
than you can possibly use—and better leads!
Want to change your life? If so, read
The Spiral
Notebook Plan and follow it precisely. See if you have what it takes to stay on
it for 45 days.
Bob Giddens
The
Spiral Notebook Plan will teach you how to find, organize and track
leads.
You will discover the tricks to finding leads in everyday life
and in
mining your personal and professional resources.
Consider this
as the first step in starting your Vollara business and as part of a methodology
that will help you build and maintain a strong network. You will eventually
operate mostly with a computerized database, but I feel
it is best to train with this method and to keep a notebook handy regardless
of the stage in your career.
My commitment to network marketing
has led to a wonderful life...
