Career Training

Lesson 1 (segment 1)

2012 and Beyond

Job and Career Seekers...

The outlook for 2012 and beyond is better than you have been hearing. Fact is; the news is great!

Lessons 1 and 2 will provide a million dollar peek into the next 5 to 30 years. This information is not secret; it's just that the media are more interested in politics and conflict.

Embrace this message and take strategically sound*

action, you'll be in a position to win big.

Success is a function of...

What a person knows

When he knows it

And the actions he takes

* Strategically sound  tactics will be discussed in Lesson 3

Population dynamics, new technologies, environmental crises, and the policies of the world's biggest countries all intermix in one big melting pot. We are in the middle! Our wars, our population dynamics, our inventions, our pollution—impact everyone. Indeed, we live where the action is.

What can be done?

Look ahead and make as many strategically sound moves as you can...

(and avoid making unsound moves)

Stick your neck out sometimes. In all likelihood, you will sometimes find yourself bucking your friends' opinions.

  Work hard and with persistence.

(work is a 4-letter word but not a dirty one)

What if Bill Gates offered this in his earliest days of building Microsoft...

"How about doing some programming (or bookkeeping or toilet cleaning) for my small company? I'll pay you a small salary and give you some stock. Or—if you believe strongly in our future—you can take all of your pay in stock."

According to Wikipedia 120,000 people became millionaires and 4 became billionaires after Microsoft went public and it's stock went through the roof.

----  wow  ----  wow  ----  wow  ----  wow  ----  wow

Guess what! You only have to strike it big once in your lifetime to be set and secure. When your chance comes, don't turn a deaf ear.

For many years, Dr. Norm Long ran a division of the 4-H program at Purdue University.

"As you might guess, some of my students went into agribusiness as employees and self-employed owners. But some of them branched into other fields. It's not necessary to stay in the career you've been trained for. The key to career happiness is to find a rewarding line of work you can fall in love with."

Who is visiting this site? Young people. Old people. Middle-aged people. You are from all faiths and races, happily or unhappily employed, unemployed, underemployed, self employed. We'll have layoff victims, scared jobholders, government workers, business owners, recent high school and college grads, struggling real estate agents, salesmen, teachers, ex-military, widows, retirees, and well-to-do people who are curious and open-minded.

Our message can help every one of you.

Lesson 1 (segment 2)

We've invited you to this lesson because:

  Our message is positive

We have a way to help

And our support system is free

From Day 1 of the recession we've known the U.S. economy would recover. Our country enjoyed a world-class run of prosperity since the fifties. The computer revolution arrived, fiber optics brought telephone charges down to almost zero, the green revolution allowed us to keep feeding the world, and then came the Internet! We landed on the moon and sent spacecraft far out into the solar system.

It was an amazing period!

But when something gets very high, it always falls back—sometimes a little, sometimes a lot. It's called an adjustment.

The opposite is also true. When a cycle finally hits bottom, the only place to go is up. It's called a rebound.

We are determined to catch the 30-year rebound that is just now beginning; we want you to catch it, too.

But you won't catch it by accident! These lessons tell you how to catch it on purpose!

Things don't feel like they're getting better if you are out of work and sweating every payment.

Maybe you're one of those victims who has lost your home. We're sorry you got burned. No telling what circumstances you are wrestling with.

Michelle had a distributorship business before her son was born eight years ago. "As a work-from-home mom I've always been there for Cody. When I lived in Santa Barbara I was even able to run for City Council (I barely missed winning a seat!). I work at my own pace and enroll others who want home-based careers."

It's important not to dwell on the past because the past can't be changed...

My wife and I have ten kids and they are all part of the second Baby Boom. We know first hand how powerful and influential this generation will be. There are 8 people in line for every job these days and 4 million more kids turn 18 each year. Young people have to be more creative in the kinds of careers they pursue.

We can't backwash the economy and recapture the lost jobs, homes, and savings. We can't bring back the times when each year's crop of college grads were in high demand. We can't buy a well-located house and count on its value going up fifty percent in three years. Those were the days!

We must look around and find ways to

START BUILDING ON THE REAL FUTURE.

Remember, down times always cycle back to up times.

By positioning yourself properly—right thinking, a right career—you can ride the rebound to a better future.

This young man has launched a dramatic new career as an author. Fewer than one person in a million can follow in Corban's footsteps. Yet his story helps us show another angle on the possible. Click on Corban to view the YouTube trailer that introduces his novel. It includes an endorsement by one of the most famous authors on the planet.

Corban's mom (she was his home school teacher) is a part-time Million Friends supporter.

Bet On America!

We have lost a lot of manufacturing jobs and we have way too much debt, but America is still the place to be. We have good soil, good climate, and a wealth of resources—timber, minerals, hydroelectric potential, oil, coal, and natural gas. Oceans protect us, left and right. We have great interior waterways, as well. We have two wonderful founding documents and a government that makes us mad sometimes but is still the best government known to man.

"I owned an air conditioning business in Florida back when the real estate market was hot. Now I live in Indiana. I sell water ionizers, air purifiers, nutrition products, and a device that allows washing machines to operate with no detergent. I'm glad to be in business as America's next boom takes off."

Some countries are riding on their oil. We don't have that option. Our standard of living calls for a huge share of the whole world's oil. We've been slow to find a solution but we will get there. This is the U.S. of A. We're a Can Do country.

The Baby Boom 2 generation will help solve our problems. A dozen generations of Americans have fixed things their parents and grandparents were not able to fix. That's who we are.

Baby Boom 2 is fully explained in Lesson 2.

You will understand our optimism!

Even in our current mess, our gross national product is still three times as large as China's. See "China vs. USA: Who will win the 21st Century" by Fareed Zakharia. Here's one paragraph:

"In America’s case, we have all the ingredients to succeed in the 21st Century. We have the most innovative companies in the world such as Facebook, Apple and Google. We have the best universities in the world. We have a nexus between universities and research-oriented companies. We have the most dynamic capital markets in the world. We have an incredibly flexible, diverse society, which is also very much a part of our inherent societal innovation and dynamism."

Don't lose your faith or your dream! People from around the world do everything they can—sometimes risking their lives—to gain access to the United States of America.

Duane and his wife own a small network marketing business. "In 2011 we made most of our income from our cabinet business but we earned up to $1,000 in some months and $300 - $500 in most months from our network. Time is tight because I also help my son with his commercial cleaning business."

We sold our pharmacies and were on top of the world. We then invested in furniture stores across the South and were riding high...until the recession got us. Guess what? The network business we built when we were young is still producing income.

Maybe it has been a long time since you've had a luxury vacation. We'd like to help you change that.

Our support system is called "Million Friends." Some of us plan to visit Hawaii together in 2015 to celebrate the careers we are launching in 2012, 2013, and 2014.

Our goals are much like yours. We want safety, good health, secure jobs, better homes, better businesses, bigger lines of credit, and reliable futures. Are you with us on these points? Maybe you don't care about having a big line of credit. Good for you! But you'll probably like this vision of the above average American life:

You have a nice home and nice cars

You pay all your normal bills and cover your insurance needs

You cover your business expenses and taxes

You enjoy some luxuries and take nice vacations

You can help your children, your parents and/or charitable causes

You are building an investment program

You are proud of your accomplishments

And we hope you have good health

review the above list and dream for a moment      segment 3 continues below

Lesson 1 (segment 3)

Our Million Friends Support System is designed to help

ambitious entrepreneurs achieve better American lives.

Your part? You must dream a little and you must work!

Whether you build a better life with a job, by starting a business, or through both, that's up to you.

Is there a chance a rich relative will leave you a fortune? For most of us, that's not an option!

We have these advantages:

We live in America (or Canada)

We have positive expectations about our future (do you?)

We respect hard work and are willing to do it (do you?)

We understand that America has nowhere to go but up

We are willing to let go of the past

We have some good qualities (everyone does!)

We care about other people (we hope you do!)

We are open to good ideas and are willing to work smart

We understand what Baby Boom #2 means for America

We are enjoying the content of this course!

We mixed some success profiles into this lesson. A rewarding opportunity is out there for you, too. You could find your next career today or tomorrow or next week. Don't stop looking, don't give up, don't despair, and never quit.

America!

Have you ever thought about why immigrants are willing to risk so much to come here and work with such great persistence? To them, America offers a degree of hope that was not possible or available where they came from.

For some of us, things go so badly that we lose our hope. If this is your situation, we urge you to...

Never lose your dream...

or your hope...

or your confidence in America...

That would be like losing your country!

Self-employment is not always easy, but it has afforded me a great life. Even when I was broke, I continued to believe that a good future was in the cards for me. I want you to have that same feeling. Our Million Friends System (free) will help you with training and motivation. We believe in hard work, big dreams, honesty, and America...and those beliefs have paid off. I found my wife in Russia and brought her and Tonya to Florida in 2008.

This lesson was prepared by a former Navy pilot. I sent in my military resignation in 1970 after serving in two aircraft carriers off Vietnam.

At the top of my résumé I wrote,

"To make a long term difference

for the company I join."

(I've always lived by that philosophy)

At 28, I took an insurance job. They put me through a 6-day indoctrination with 30 other young guys. Then I went back to my town and did what they taught. A month later I was the only one from my class that sold at least one policy every week.

I was NOT a great salesperson but I was a hard and determined worker! Each week I spent about 12 hours on the phone setting appointments. I called until 10 appointments were on my docket. From there, it was just a matter of numbers.

I had also started a network marketing business (recruiting instead of selling). On a part-time basis I recruited 4 or 5 people per month. Ninety days later I quit the insurance job. That job was paying a $1,000 monthly advance against my commissions. My network marketing distributorship didn't guarantee anything.

But guaranteed money was only one factor. The networking career seemed like something I would love. It was a challenge but it was very rewarding.

Timing is so crucial. In my first network marketing effort I caught the vitamin boom of the seventies. Two decades later I had changed companies. This time I caught the indoor air purification boom. I'm not the best networker who ever lived, but my average gross annual income over 42 years has been $350,000.

But look what you're up against in the job market.

Perhaps you are wondering if $350,000 might be possible for you.

For most people the answer is no. My example is true but rather extreme.

It took a massive effort and required great timing. As a single guy, I was able to do hundred hour weeks.

We don't know what talents you have or if you are a massive effort person, but the great timing is back.

We'll cover the timing factor in Lesson 2.

We'll cover the income possibilities in Lesson 3.

The person who invited you to this course wants to put you in a program that is positioned to boom in 2012 and keep booming as our economy ushers in a decades-long run of prosperity. You can keep your job. You can work two jobs. This is extra. This is strategic.

The cost to join ranges from zero to $3,000.

So you can definitely afford to say yes!
